2.4 Option of braking unit and braking resistor
During motor brake running, there is negative torque. For this reason, the inverter should consider
the optional braking unit, otherwise an overcurrent or overvoltage error will occur and lead to a trip.
For the braking time in a braking cycle accounting for 10%, the external brake unit and braking
resistor configuration is shown in Table 2-2.
