2.3 Who is this manual intended for?
This manual is intended for users and service engineers of the vehicle lift. Anyone
who is not familiar with the installation, operation and service of the vehicle lift is
advised to fully read the following chapters and to follow the instructions exactly.
Personnel that are familiar with the installation, operation and service of the
vehicle lift can use this manual for reference.
The table of contents and the index can be used to locate specific information.
2.4 Scope of this manual
This manual is a guide for installing, operating and servicing the vehicle lift. Each
installation, operator and maintenance action is sequentially described in the
relevant sections of this manual.
Normal routine operation of the vehicle lift, requires that operators and engineers:
have enough technical knowledge and experience to carry out the assigned
tasks,
can recognize and prevent hazards,
have read this manual and understand the contents,
have been adequately trained,
are able to follow the procedures in this manual.
2.5 Document conventions
In this manual the following signs are used to draw the reader’s attention to
especially important points.
Actions the operator or engineer should perform in a specific sequence are
numbered:
1. Turn on the power switch.
Bullets are used for lists of items or actions.
Soft keys or touch screen buttons are always shown between [brackets]:
