3.5 Lock-out / tag-out
Lock-out/Tag-out procedures are safety measures, designed to prevent application
of power (energy) to vehicle lift while it is being serviced.
The established procedures for the application of energy control (the lock-out or
tag-out procedures) shall cover the following elements and actions and shall be
done in the next mentioned sequence.
