8.4.1 The column lift does not rise
Cause
Solution
No mains power/control power.
Check the mains power/control power.
See section No mains power (on page
76) and section No control voltage (on
page 76).
Oil level too low (but motor running)
Top up; see Lubrication instructions.
There is air in the hydraulic pump
(only possible if the tank has been
empty).
Select [SINGLE] operation and press
the [UP] button until the column lift
rises (max. 1 minute).
The pressure relief valve has not been
correctly adjusted.
Contact technical services to have the
valve correctly adjusted.
The pump capacity is inadequate.
Replace the pump.
The current has been interrupted by a
thermal relay in the control box of the
main column.
Reset the thermal relay.
If the fault occurs again, contact the
technical service.
The maximum height difference (more
than 2 3/4") has been exceeded.
Set the main switch to OFF and ON.
Press the [SELECT] button twice to
ensure the system can be used again.
If the fault occurs again, contact the
technical service.
The phases have not been correctly
connected. The red light (FAULT) is lit
continuously.
Exchange the two phases in the plug
on the supply cable or in the main box.
