5 INSTALLATION
5.1 Unpacking and setup
Proceed as described next when unpacking and setting up each column.
Only use proper lifting equipment to move the column lift. Lift the column only at
the points intended for this. Failure to relocate the column lift in the right manner
can cause damage to the column lift and/or bodily injury.
Do not enter the area below the column lift while it is suspended by the lifting
equipment. If it should fall, it could cause serious injury.
1. Transport the column lift to the location where it will be used.
2. Remove the protective cover from the hydraulic unit.
3. Remove the stopper from the filler opening and attach the air bleed cap.
4. Check for oil leaks.
5. Replace the protective cover on the hydraulic power unit.
