Operation & Service Manual (VA) 60 ST1175
7.8.1 Program 60 - Elevation limiter (code HS)
If this code is inactive, the column lift will stop at the highest position against a
fixed mechanical limiter. The pressure relief valve is then opened. This will not
damage the column lift. The elevation limiter can be programmed as follows:
1. Position the column lift at the required limiting elevation.
2. Lower the column lift into the pawls and then raise it approx. 1", to be sure that the
highest position is well above the locking position.
3. Next, activate program 60 (code must be lit continuously). If the limiting elevation
currently set is not high enough, deactivate the current elevation limit first.
The height of the column on which programming is taking place is used as the
height limiter value. Other columns for which the height has not been set (or which
have been set at a higher value), may have a higher position through, for example,
the "Single" or "Pair" control of these columns.
7.8.2 Program 61 - Unlock while rising
This option is available so that the pawls are operated when the UP button is
operated. This will suppress the clicking noise of the pawls when they are going
up.
This option has no effect on the safety of the column lift; the pawl will be pulled in
again when the UP button is released. Unlocking during raising is active when the
code is continuously on.
7.8.3 Program 62 - Protection against crushing
A height of approximately 24" will have been set when using remote control which
means that the lowering function will no longer function. This function is inactive
when the code flashes.
7.8.4 Program 63 - Functional phase monitoring (code 04)
This function monitors whether the column lift also rises when the [UP] button is
operated. It is displayed as code 04 on the double 7-segment display as long as
the [UP] button is pressed.
The function is inactive when the code flashes.
