3.2 LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
• There must be sufficient room available to accommodate the bed’s entire range of
adjustments. Furniture, window sills, must not be in the way.
• Before using the bed on parquet flooring, check whether the castors could leave
marks on the parquet varnish. The bed can be used on tiles, carpet, linoleum or
laminate flooring without causing any damage.
• A properly installed mains socket must be available as close as possible to the
head end of the bed. Position the bed so as to allow easy access to the power
plug at all times, so that the bed can be disconnected from the mains, if
necessary.
Features of the switch mode power supply
The switch mode power supply is simply
plugged into an electrical socket.
The outlet cable must hang downwards.
The mains socket you wish to use for the switch mode power supply
must NOT be under the bed.
o Otherwise, the moving mattress base frame may rip the switch
mode power supply out of the mains socket during horizontal
adjustments.
o Irreparable damage to the switch mode power supply could be
caused and a short-circuit in the electrical socket could occur.
Be careful when moving the bed away: Ensure that the cable is
long enough; unplug the switch mode power supply.
Take care when adjusting the height: Maintain a sufficient
distance at the side between the bed and the switch mode power
supply to avoid damaging it. (Use a wall spacer, if necessary)
