4.1.1 Individual axle braking (standard)
Operate the castors, one set after the other, on
either side at the head or foot end of the bed. This
allows the castor sets at each end of the bed to
be operated with one lever.
Move: Lift the brake pedal (head and foot end)
with your foot.
Brake: Tread on the pedal (head and foot end).
4.1.2 Central locking (optional)
Central locking can only be operated at the foot end.
There is a pedal on both castors at the foot end of the
bed.
Move: Press the pedal down at the foot end with your
foot.
Brake: Press the pedal down at the foot end with your
foot.
4.1.3 Moving with steering lock (optional with central locking)
Steering lock: Raise the
pedal with the foot or press it
down on the opposite side.
One of the castors at the
head end of the bed has a
steering lock that can be
activated to make it easier to
move it in a straight line.
