If the thigh rest is raised using the handset, the lower leg rest is automatically moved

4.2.2 Manual CPR release of the backrest
In the event of power supply outages or electrical drive system failures, a raised
backrest 1 can be lowered by hand.
Please note: manual emergency release of the backrest must be carried
out by two people!
Disregard for this safety information and instructions for use may cause
the backrest to fall uncontrollably, which could lead to serious injuries
for both the user and the resident!
The CPR release may only be carried out in the case of extreme
emergencies and by users who have a complete command of the
procedure described below.
We strongly advise you to practise CPR release of the backrest several
times under normal conditions. In the event of an emergency, you will then
be able to react quickly and correctly.
Before lowering, any load exerted
on the backrest 1 must be
removed.
To do so, the first person raises
the backrest by holding onto the
backrest frame .2. and holding it
securely in this position.
The second person now removes
the bolt 4 . Fold back the curved
clip .3. and draw the bolt and clip
out of the lifting rod of the
backrest motor.
