4.5.4.2 Removing full-length safety sides (2)
The bars are removed and replaced with longer bars.
1.
Proceed as described in chapter 4.5.4.1.
Difference: In the case of (2) there is no centre support.
4.5.4.3 Installing combined safety sides

The guide rails 1 must be
diagonally aligned before starting
the assembly work. To ensure this,
raise the guide rail at the foot end
and lower the guide rail at the
centre.

First install the lower bar:
Place one end of the bar into the
lower holding fixture and press the
bar in until it locks into place in the
holding fixture.
The recess on the safety side bar
must face downwards/inwards and
the rounded side of the bar must
face upwards.
3.
Place the other end of the bar into
the lower holding fixture and press
the bar in until it locks into place in
the holding fixture.
4.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the top
bar.
5.
Finally, check to make sure that
everything works properly, and observe the following instruction.
