Insert the fork as far under the load as pos-
sible using the brake Inching pedal. Stop
the truck using the service brake as soon as
the fork back is resting against the load.
The load centre of gravity must be midway
between the fork arms.
Lift the fork carriage until the load is resting
entirely on the fork.
NOTE
The lifting speed can be increased by adjust-
ing the engine speed. Refer to the chapter en-
titled "Increasing the lifting speed".
DANGER
Risk of accident!
Beware of any people in the danger area.
CAUTION
Component damage possible!
Ensure that the roadway behind you is clear.
Move backwards carefully and slowly until
the load is clear of the racking. Brake gen-
tly.
DANGER
Never tilt the lift mast with a raised load due to the
risk of tipping!
Lower the load before tilting the lift mast.
