1 Foreword
STOBER drive controllers of the SD6 series offer maximum precision and productivity for automation technology and
mechanical engineering despite ever more complex functions.
Drive controllers from the SD6 series can be equipped with the EC6 communication module to provide reliable
communication between the drive technology and controller over the EtherCAT fieldbus system.
The STOBER product portfolio is also designed for combining SD6 with the MC6 motion controller as an EtherCAT master;
together with the associated AS6 development environment, STOBER gives you a complete and uniform solution with
regard to EtherCAT communication.
