PARTS REPLACEMENT
5. Remove translating screw by pulling it towards the head end of bed.
6. Eject the 4 spring pins inserted in the translating screw.
7. Unscrew translating screw manually to remove ACME nut. Pull off
bearing plates and bearing (E).
8. Slide bearing on new translating screw, starting at the threaded
end. The side which locks must face the foot end of the bed (see
circled diagram). Insert 2 spring pins to keep bearing in place.
Insert one bearing plate on each end of the translating screw.
