5.5.3 Alignment tailstock
In the sideway (X-axis direction), the tailstock can be aligned to the center line of the machine.
To align the tailstock the following steps need to be followed:
1. Check the alignment of the tailstock by a measurement. It’s recommended to check this on the inner side
of the cone.
2. Release the clamping of the clamping blocks (4&6)
3. Untighten the 2 bolts on the bottom side of the tailstock.
4. Adjust the tailstock by using the screws (9) until the tailstock is in line.
5. Tighten the 2 bolts on the bottom of the tailstock. (see step 3)
6. Clamp the tailstock to the machine bed and check the alignment by a measurement.
