2B-7 Front Suspension:
Install the wheel hub (10), washer (11) and front hub
nut (12).
NOTE
The conical side of washer (11) faces out
side. Refer to “Front Suspension Assembly
Construction (Page 2B-2)”.
Install the brake caliper. Refer to “Front Brake
Caliper Removal and Installation: in Section 4B”.
Install the front wheel assembly. Refer to “Front /
Rear Wheel Removal and Installation: in Section
2D”.
Tighten the front hub nut (13) to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Front hub nut (d): 110 N·m (11.0 kgf-m, 79.5 lbf-ft)
Install the cotter pin (14).
CAUTION
!
The removed cotter pin (14) must be replaced
with a new one.
Front Hub Bearing Inspection
B931H22206008
Inspect the inner race play of the front hub bearing by
hand while they are in the steering knuckle.
Rotate the inner races by hand to inspect for abnormal
noise and smooth rotation. If there is anything unusual,
replace the front hub bearing with a new one.
Front Hub Bearing Removal and Installation

Refer to “Front Wheel Hub / Steering Knuckle Removal
and Installation (Page 2B-4)”.
Removal
1) Remove the outer dust seal (1) with the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–50121 (Oil seal remover)
2) Remove the snap ring (2) with the special tool.
Special tool
: 09900–06108 (Snap ring remover (Close
type))
