Set Lengths for Discrete 2 of 5 (continued)
Any Length - Scanning this option allows decoding of D 2 of 5 symbols containing any number of characters within the scanner
capability.
Due to the construction of the D 2 of 5 symbology, it is possible for a scan line covering only a portion
of the code to be interpreted as a complete scan, yielding less data than is actually encoded in the bar
code. To prevent this from happening, it is strongly recommended that specific lengths (D 2 of 5 - One
Discrete Length - Two Discrete Lengths) be selected for D 2 of 5 applications.
