CyFlow™ Cube 6 V2m | Operating Manual | February 2020
6.2 Performing a measurement (Sample Port)
Sample Preparation
High particle concentrations might clog the device.
• Dilute or filter sample if necessary
• Mix sample well before analysis
Refer to specific measurement procedures in the respective assay and
reagent labelling for detailed descriptions.
Different measure modes are available for data acquisition. For more information, please
refer to chapter 11 Software.
Table 10: Measure Modes
The start and stop electrode are used to measure a defined
volume of 200 µl
A flexible predefined volume is analyzed
Continuous acquisition of the complete sample (default)
Continous acquisition until a flexible predefined number of
particles within in a specified region is reached
Recommendations
• Make sure the correct trigger parameter is selected.
• The minimal sample volume for TVAC is 850 µl.
• Use flow rates between 0.5 - 5 µl/s for sample measurements. Optimal flow rates
depend on the application.
• Use the same flow rate for pre-measure and measure phase to avoid fluidic
turbulences.
Requirements
• The sample is prepared for measurement.
• The Sheath Fluid bottle is filled.
• The Waste bottle is not full.
• “Sample Port” in Settings - Measure Mode - Sample Source is selected.
