8. Move the Cap gently up and down several times while keeping the Inline Filter
covered in Sheath Fluid to remove air bubbles from the Inline Filter.
9. Screw down the Cap by turning the Bottle. Do not twist the Tubing and the Sensor
cable.
8.3 Other maintenance
8.3.1 Device cleaning
Sample port electrodes
The Sample port electrodes are most sensitive and are easily
damageable, which causes incorrect measurement volume and therefore
incorrect results.
• Only Authorised service personnel must clean the Sample port and
its components.
• Do not touch the Sample port electrodes.
Harmful substances
Inadequate cleaning and disinfection of the device exterior result in
damages to the device.
• Always use alcoholfree and benzenefree cleaning agents for cleaning
the device housing.
Cleaning the housing
Carefully clean the outer housing of the device on a regular basis with a soft cloth.
In case of disinfection on the housing or on components, wipe with:
1. Clean cloth dipped with disinfective agent
2. Clean cloth
Dispose of cloths after cleaning is done.
