STORAGE, TRANSPORT AND DELIVERY
The machine is delivered in a protective wooden crate. We ask that you please recycle
the packing materials. Since the machines and crating are bulky, make sure there is
enough free space available for proper storage and/or transport, especially if storing
or shipping more than one unit.
Uncrate and carefully inspect the machine upon delivery. Should you note any damage
to the machine, retain all packing materials and promptly notify the carrier. The
transport company is solely responsible for any damage to the machine during transit.
If the machine is found to be in satisfactory condition, convey it to a suitable work area
with a flat, level floor. Because of its weight (see the above Technical Specifications
table), the machine must always be moved with a pallet mover or forklift. Use care
when sliding the forklift’s blades underneath the machine.
The following items are enclosed in the crate with the Talsa cutter:
6-knife cutting head (already installed).
2 wrenches for assembling and dismantling the knives (one double-ended and
one single-ended).
4 supplementary rings to allow use of the machine with just 3 knives.
Instruction manual.
CE-conformity for units sent to countries within the EU or belonging to the CEN.
Warning!
ALWAYS keep the machine upright,
even while it is still crated.
NEVER stack machines. DO NOT rest
heavy objects on the machine or its
crate.
NEVER lift the cutter by the cutting
head shaft support since this could
result in serious damage to both the
support and the shaft.
