④ Separate the transmission from the converter
housing. Remove the output gear.
Note: Remove the old gaskets from the mating
surfaces. Use caution to prevent gasket
scraps from entering the oil or screw holes.
■DISASSEMBLING CONVERTER
HOUSING
① Remove the charging pump (1) from the
converter housing.
Note: Remove the old gaskets from the mating
surfaces. Use caution to prevent gasket
scraps from entering the oil or screw holes.
② Remove the strainer (1) from the converter
housing.
Note: Remove the old gaskets from the mating
surfaces. Use caution to prevent gasket
scraps from entering the oil or screw holes.
③ Remove the converter relief valve (1) and
regulator valve (2) from the converter
housing.
Note: Remove the old gaskets from the mating
surfaces. Use caution to prevent gasket
scraps from entering the oil or screw holes.
