3.8 TILT CYLINDER
■DISASSEMBLY
① Hold the tail-side boss (1) of the tilt cylinder
in a vise (2), and support the other side of the
tilt cylinder with the block (3).
② Loosen the lock nut (4) and remove the joint
(5) and collar (6) from the rod.
③ Remove the cylinder cap (1) using a hook
wrench.
④ Pull out the rod (1) to remove the piston (3)
from the cylinder (2).
⑤ Raise the staked parts of the nut (2) securing
the piston (1) and remove the nut (2).
⑥ Remove the piston (1) from the rod (3).
