2.10 ENGINE AND DRIVE UNIT
■ REMOVAL
① Park the truck.
② Remove the wheels.
③ Remove the mast assembly. (See “2.17 MAST
ASSEMBLY.”)
④ Remove the overhead guard and hood. (See
“2.2 HOOD AND OVERHEAD GUARD.”)
⑤ Rem ove the counterweight. (S ee “2.4
COUNTERWEIGHT.”)
⑥ Remove the muffler and exhaust pipe. (See
“2.5 MUFFLER.”)
⑦ Remove the radiator. (See “2.6 RADIATOR.”)
⑧ Remove the air cleaner. (See “2.7 AIR
CLEANER.”)
⑨ Remove the accelerator cable from the front
plate.
⑩ Remove the front guard and the floorboard
kit. (See “2.8 FRONT GUARD.”)
⑪ Remove the front plate (1) from the frame.
⑫ Remove the suction hose (2) leading to the
pump (1).
⑬ Remove the propeller shaft (3).
⑭ Disconnect the fuel hose from the engine.
