7.9. DISASSEMBLING THE CENTER HANDLEBAR

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
7.6. “Disassembling the upright guard”.
1. Unplug connectors a of the sensor cables.
2. Cut the locking strips b of the sensor cables.
3. Unscrew the 2 screws c using an 6-mm hex T
wrench.
4. Remove the CENTER HANDLEBAR being
careful to pull out the sensor cables through
the center handlebar.

To reassemble the CENTER HANDLEBAR,
carry out the above steps in reverse order, being
careful to:
• position the sensor cables inside the opening,
as shown in the figure at left;
• ensure that screws c do not pinch the cables.
To facilitate this operation, keep the
cables taut by pulling on the end which
comes out of the side handlebars.
