7.15. DISASSEMBLING THE PEDALS AND THE PEDAL GROUP

Turn off the machine and unplug the mains lead
from the wall output.
Working from both sides:
1. Grip the chain with the gripper pliers.
2. Clamp the gripper pliers on the frame guard
to keep the chain slack.
3. Unscrew the screw a which links the
connecting rod to the PEDAL GROUP using
a 6-mm hex T wrench.
4. Rest the connecting rod on the ground.

5. Turn the PEDAL.
6. Unscrew the screw b fixing the rotation pivot
of the PEDAL GROUP to the lever, using a
6-mm hex T wrench.

7. Using a pin extractor tool and a 13-mm
wrench, or pushing with a wrench on the full
pin, remove the rotation pivot c of the
PEDAL GROUP from the lever.
8. Remove the PEDAL GROUP.
To reassemble the PEDAL GROUPS, carry out
the above steps in reverse order.
Center the fixing hole of the PEDAL
GROUP pivot with the hole on the
PEDAL GROUP using the extractor
tool.
