7.13. DISASSEMBLING THE PEDAL SPRING - CHAIN

Carry out the procedures described in paragraphs
7.6. “Disassembling the upright guard” and 7.8.
“Disassembling the frame guard”.
WARNING: when carrying out these
operations, be careful not to damage the
hand sensor cables.
1. Disengage the PEDAL CHAINS from the
lower pulleys a.

Working on the right pedal:
2. Unscrew the screw b of the PEDAL CHAIN
joint using an 8-mm hex T wrench.
Manually guide the disassembled
PEDAL CHAIN until it is no longer held
taut by the spring.
Working on the left pedal:
3. Unscrew the screw of the PEDAL CHAIN
joint using an 8-mm hex T wrench.

To disassemble the CHAINS and the SPRINGS,
on each point equipped with a connecting link:
4. Remove the clip c from the connecting link
using the special pliers.
5. Remove the connecting plate d.
6. Open the connecting link e.
To reassemble the CHAIN - PEDAL SPRING,
carry out the above steps in reverse order.
