7.21. DISASSEMBLING THE SECONDARY SHAFT

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
7.19. “Disassembling the primary shaft -
secondary shaft chain”.
1. Back off nut a of the belt tension rod using a
17-mm wrench.

2. Back off the dowel b using a 4-mm hex T
wrench.
3. Move the alternator toward the pulley to
slacken the belt c.
