7 Static Tranfer Switch (STS) Module
The Static Transfer Switch (STS) Module is installed before leaving factory. It provides the Bypass Power when
UPS is in Bypass Mode.
In addition to offering Bypass Power, it includes some Communication Interfaces. For detailed information, please
refer to next section.
As shown in Figure 7.1, the Static Transfer Switch (STS) Module includes Contact Ports (X1~X8), Extra Comm.
Slot, SNMP Slot, LCD Port and Communication Ports (RS232 Port, USB port) on the front panel.

7.1 Interface and Communication
As shown in Figure 7-1, the Static Transfer Switch (STS) Module includes Contact Ports (X1~X8), Extra Comm.
