The engine must not be started
with the hydraulic tank shut
-off
valves in the closed position or
component damage will occur. If
the tank valves are closed,
remove the key from the key
switch
and tag the machine to
inform personnel of the
cond
ition.
1 Connect a 0 to 600 psi / 0 to 50 bar pressure
gauge to either diagnostic nipple on the drive
manifold.
2 Turn the key switch to ground controls and
pull out the red Emergency Stop buttons to
the on position at both platform and ground
controls.
3 Ford models: Close the valve on the LPG
tank, then disconnect the hose from the tank
(if equipped). Move the fuel select toggle
switch at the ground controls to the LPG
position.
Deutz D2011 L031models: Hold the manual
fuel shutoff lever clockwise in the closed
position.

4 Crank the engine with the starter motor for
15 seconds, wait 15 seconds, then crank the
engine an additional 15 seconds or until the
pressure reaches 325 psi / 22.4 bar.
5 Ford models: Connect the hose to the LPG
tank and open the valve (if equipped). Move
the fuel select toggle switch at the ground
controls to the gasoline position.
Deutz D2011 L03i models: Release the
manual fuel shutoff lever.
6 Start the engine from the ground controls.
Check for hydraulic leaks.
