4.3 TABLE A PROCEDURES
A-1 CHECK THE OIL LEVEL WITHIN REDUCTION
GEARS, DIFFERENTIAL GEARS AND POWER
DIVIDER REDUCTION GEAR
To check the oil level within the wheel reduction
gears:
- Stop the machine on a level ground and ensure the
parking brake is engaged and plug A finds on the
horizontal axis.
- Clean the plug all around, then remove it and check
if oil is level with the hole.
- If necessary, add new oil through hole A until it is
level.
- Refit the plug.
PROTECT THE
ENVIRONMENT
Place a container of suitable size under the plug for
oil leaks.
To check the oil level in the front and rear differential
gears:
- Stop the machine on a level ground and ensure the
parking brake is engaged.
- Remove the plug A and check if oil is level with the
hole.
- If necessary, top-up through hole B until oil comes
out from hole A.
- Refit the plugs A and B.
PROTECT THE
ENVIRONMENT
Place a container of suitable size under the plug for
oil leaks.
