What to do if there is no fuel quantity indication in my THRUSH S2R – G10 Aircrafts?
    • D
      Donald WeaverJul 31, 2025
If there is no fuel quantity indication, several issues could be the cause. First, check if the fuel tanks are empty and service them with the correct fuel type and amount. Inspect the fuel quantity indicator circuit breaker for any defects, and replace it if necessary. Check for loose connections or open circuits in the wiring, and repair them as needed. Also, the left and right fuel quantity indicator switch could be defective, so check its continuity and replace it if needed. Ensure that the gauge is receiving power and check for a defective circuit breaker if there is no power. Finally, if the power, ground, and transmitter checks are all okay, the circuit board on the rear of the gauge may be defective, in which case you should replace the board or the entire gauge.

Why is there no fuel flow to the engine in my THRUSH S2R – G10?
    • D
      dickersonannaAug 4, 2025
If there is no fuel flow to the engine, start by verifying the fuel quantity and refilling with the correct fuel if necessary. Inspect the fuel lines for disconnections or breaks, and repair them as needed. Check the header tank outlet fuel strainers for any blockages; if blocked, remove and clean the strainer and flush out the tank. Also, inspect the fuel filter element for clogs and clean or replace it. Finally, check the fuel lines for any blockages, disconnecting them one by one starting at the fuel pump inlet until you locate the plugged line, and then clean or replace it.

What to do if the fuel indicated full at all times in my THRUSH S2R – G10 Aircrafts?
    • M
      Michael HoltAug 9, 2025
If the fuel indicator always reads full, it might be due to an open ground between the gauge and the transmitter. Check the resistance (ohms) to the transmitter. Inspect for any broken wires. The transmitter should read 0 ohms when the fuel tank is empty and 33 ohms when the tank is full.

What to do if there is no fuel flow when the auxiliary pump is on in my THRUSH S2R – G10 Aircrafts?
    • M
      Megan AndersenAug 13, 2025
If there is no fuel flow when the auxiliary pump is activated, start by checking the continuity of the electric auxiliary fuel pump switch and replace it if defective. Inspect the circuit breaker for any signs of being open or defective, and replace it if necessary. Examine the connections and wiring for looseness or open circuits, and repair or replace them as needed. If these steps do not resolve the issue, disconnect the outlet line from the auxiliary fuel pump. With a proper fuel supply to the pump, fuel under pressure should flow from the outlet. If it doesn't, replace the defective pump. Finally, check the engine-driven fuel pump bypass valve.

What to do if my THRUSH S2R – G10 Aircrafts experiences fuel starvation after starting?
    • Y
      yolandaguerreroAug 17, 2025
If your aircraft experiences fuel starvation after starting, it could be due to partial fuel flow issues. Use the isolation procedures to check for sufficient flow rate and apply the remedies. It may also be caused by a malfunction of the engine-driven fuel pump, in which case you should check the pump outlet during starting and replace the fuel pump. Another potential cause is plugged fuel vents. Inspect the ram air inlet for any blockages and pressure check each vent line, cleaning or replacing the vent line as necessary.

What to do if the fuel flow indicator is inoperative in my THRUSH S2R – G10? (Optional Equip)
    • S
      Shannon PerkinsAug 21, 2025
If the fuel flow indicator is inoperative, check the voltage and ground wire. If voltage is present and the ground is good, replace the indicator, maintaining the same K factor.

What to do if fuel flow Indicator comes on but will not show fuel flow in my THRUSH S2R – G10 Aircrafts? (Optional Equip)
    • S
      spencejustinAug 27, 2025
If the fuel flow indicator turns on but doesn't display fuel flow, it could be due to bad wires to the transducer or a defective transducer. Remove the four screws holding the wire housing to the flow vane housing to check the transducer. With battery power on, pass a screwdriver back and forth over the wire housing pickups. You should get a reading on the indicator. If there is no reading, replace the units.
