5.4 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Do not apply undue force to the Power Cord by hold-
ing the Cord itself, but hold the plug, when you dis-
connect it from the receptacle. The core wires in-
side of the Cord may otherwise be damaged, possi-
bly causing struck by electricity or inflammation.
Do not use organic solvents, such as thinner, ben-
zene nor acetone, or inflammation or struck by elec-
tricity may be caused otherwise.
Occasionally clean the inner surface of the measure-
ment window with a piece of soft cloth. The optical
devices and parts, if they are subjected to dust or
stains, extremely affect on the preciseness of mea-
surement.
If the instrument is not used, place the dust cover
on it. The optical devices and parts, if they are sub-

ciseness of measurement.
For cleaning the instrument, use a piece of soft cloth.
If the instrument is subjected to an excessive
amount of stains, use a piece of soft cloth which is
soaked in a diluted neutral cleanse and dehydrated.
The Chin Rest and the Head Rest shall be cleaned
with a piece of sterilization alcohol soaked cloth.
