14 POWER SOURCE AND CHARGING
2 Insert the battery with the arrow shown on it downward while
pressing toward the instrument.

• Inserting the battery aslant may damage the instrument or the
battery terminal.
3 Close the cover. Listen for the click to ensure that the cover is
properly closed.
