2. Optional: Remove the three bolts washers and nuts
that are securing the safety bar for better access
(Fig. 074).
1. Remove the bolt and nut securing the spoils auger to
the trencher shaft (Fig. 075).

Slide the spoils auger off trencher shaft (Fig. 076).
