8.Addtheremainingwatertothetank.

OperatingtheBooms
Theboom-liftswitchesonthesprayercontrolpanel
allowyoutomovetheboomsbetweenthetransport
positionandthespraypositionwithoutleavingthe
operator'sseat.Changeboompositionswhilethe
machineisstationary.
SettingtheHydraulicLiftLock
Engagethehydraulicliftleverandlockittoprovide
hydraulicpowerforcontroloftheboomlift.

Completethesprayerjob,thenperformthefollowing
stepstoretracttheboomsintothetransportposition:
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Usetheboom-liftswitchestoraisethebooms,
untiltheyhavemovedcompletelyintoboom
transportcradleformingthe“X”transport
positionandtheboomcylindersarefully
retracted.
Important:Topreventdamagetothe
boomactuatorcylinder,makesurethat
theactuatorsarefullyretractedbefore
transportingthemachine.
UsingtheBoomTransportCradle
Thesprayerisequippedwithaboomtransportcradle
thathasauniquesafetyfeature.Intheeventof
accidentalboomcontactwithalowoverheadobject
whileinthetransportposition,youcanpushthe
boom(s)outofthetransportcradles.Ifthisoccurs,
theboomscometorestinanearhorizontalposition
totherearofthevehicle.Whilethismovementwillnot
damagethebooms,theyshouldbeimmediatelyput
backintothetransportcradle.
Important:Theboomscanbedamagedby
transportingtheminanypositionotherthanthe
