objecttopreventthemachinefrommovingduringtesting.
12.Blockthewheelswithchockstopreventthewheelsrotationduringtesting.
13.Starttheengineandmovethethrottletofullspeed(3,210rpm)position.Use
aphototactocheckthattheenginespeediscorrect.
14.Recordthereadingonthechargetestportpressuregauge.Thecharge
pressurewithoutloadshouldread5.6to7bar(81to101.5psi).Ifthe
chargepressurespecicationisnotmet,thehydraulicpumpchargerelief
valvemaybedamaged.Repairorreplacethehydraulicpumpchargerelief
valve;refertoServicingtheHydraulicPistonPump(page5–86).
15.Sitintheoperator’sseat,releasetheparkingbrake,andslowlypressthe
tractionpedalforwarduntilthepressurereachedto100to115bar(1450to
1668psi)onthetractioncircuitpressuregaugeandthentoreversewhile
monitoringthechargetestportpressuregauge.
16.Recordthereadingonthechargetestportpressuregauge(underload).
Thechargepressure(underload)shouldnotdropmorethan20%when
comparedtothechargepressure(withoutload)recordedinpara14.
Ifthespecicationsarenotmet,performthehydraulicpumpowandtraction
reliefpressuretest;refertoTestingtheTractionCircuit-HydraulicPump
FlowandReliefPressure(page5–44).
17.Releasethetractionpedal,movethethrottletolowspeedposition,andshut
offtheengine.
