10.Chocktherearleftwheelbeingtestedtopreventfromrotation.
CAUTION
Useextremecautionwhenperformingthistest.Thewheelmotor
beingtestedwillbetryingtomovethemachineforward.
11.Starttheengineandrunitatlowidlespeed.Checkforthehydraulicuid
leaksfromthetestconnectionsandcorrectbeforethecontinuingthetest.
12.Settheenginespeedtoapproximately3,210rpm.Useaphototactocheck
thattheenginespeediscorrect.
13.Whilesittingintheoperatorseat,andwiththebrakesrmlyappliedtoprevent
therearwheelsfromrotating,slowlypressthetractionpedalintheforward
directionuntilthetesterpressuredisplays69to103bar(1,000to1,500psi).
14.ReturnthetractionpedaltotheNEUTRALposition.Releasethebrakes,shut
offtheengine,andrecordthetestresults.
Note:Testingthewheelmotorleakagein3differentwheelpositionswill
givethemostaccuratetestresults.
15.Rotatethewheelmotorbeingtestedto90ºandretest.Recordthetestresults.
16.Rotatethewheelmotorbeingtestedto180ºandretest.Recordthetest
results.
17.Theowmeterreadingshouldbelessthan2.8LPM(0.74GPM)forthe
testedwheelmotor.Ifthespecicationisnotmet,repairorreplacethe
wheelmotor.
18.Releasethehydraulicpressurefromthehydraulicsystem;refertoReleasing
PressurefromtheHydraulicSystem(page5–5).
19.Disconnectthetesterfromthepumpoutletttingandhydraulichoseand
connectthepumpoutlettothehydraulichoses.
