InstallingtheHeightOfCutValve
1.Ifthehydraulicttingswereremovedfromtheheightofcutvalve,lubricate
newO-ringswithcleanhydraulicuid,positiontheO-ringstothettings,and
installthettingsintotheheightofcutvalve;refertoInstallingtheHydraulic
Fittings(page5–10).
2.Positiontheheightofcutvalvetotheoperator’splatformandsecurewiththe
2bolts(item4inFigure84)andwashers(5).
3.Removethecapsandplugsfromthehydrauliclinesandttingsthatwere
installedduringtheremovalprocess.
4.LubricateandinstallthenewO-ringsontotheheightofcutvalvettings.
5.Usethelabelsthatyouattachedduringheightofcutvalveremoval,correctly
connectthehydraulichosesandtubestotheheightofcutvalve;referto
InstallingtheHydraulicHosesandTubes(page5–8).
6.Afteryoucompletetheassembly,ensurethatthehydraulichosesandttings
donotcontactanythingtothechassis.Also,checkforanyhydraulic-uid
leaks.
7.Checkthehydraulic-uidlevelinthehydraulictankandaddcorrectquantity
ofuidifnecessary;refertotheOperator’sManual.
8.Operatethemachinefunctionsslowlyuntilairisoutofsystem;referto
ChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page5–72).
9.Starttheengine,checkforhydraulic-uidleaks,repairanyleaksas
necessary,andllthehydraulictankwiththecorrectquantityofnewhydraulic
uidbeforereturningthemachinetoservice.
