refertoRemovingtheRadiator(page4–8).
InspectingtheOilCooler
1.Backushtheoilcoolerwithcleaningsolvent.Aftercleaningthecooler,
ensurethatallthesolventisdrainedfromthecooler.
WARNING
Useaneyeprotectionsuchasgoggleswhenusingthecompressed
airtodrytheoilcooler.
2.Usethecompressedairintheoppositedirectionoftheuidowanddry
theinteriorsoftheoilcooler.
3.Installthecleanplugsontheoilcoolerports.Cleantheoutersurfaceof
thecooler.
Note:Theoilcoolermustbefreefromcorrosion,crackedtubes,orexcessive
pittingoftubes.
InstallingtheOilCooler
Theradiatorandoilcoolermustbeinstalledintothemachineasanassembly;
refertoInstallingtheRadiator(page4–10).
