radiator(Figure20).Allofthesemodelsuseasimilarprocedureforradiator
removalandinstallation.
RemovingtheRadiatorAssembly
1.Parkmachineonalevelsurface,lowercuttingunits,stopengine,engage
parkingbrakeandremovekeyfromthekeyswitch.
2.Unlatchscreenatrearofmachine.Liftscreenfromhingesandremove
screenfrommachine.
3.Raiseandsupporthood.
CAUTION
Donotopenradiatorcapordraincoolantiftheradiatororengineis
hot.Pressurized,hotcoolantcanescapeandcauseburns.
Ethylene-glycolantifreezeispoisonous.Disposeofcoolantproperly,
orstoreitinaproperlylabeledcontainerawayfromchildrenand
pets.
4.Drainradiatorintoasuitablecontainereitherbyusingthedraincockonthe
leftsideoftheradiatororbydisconnectingthelowerradiatorhosefromthe
KubotaDieselEngine:ServiceandRepairs
