WARNING
Risk of injury from defective spare parts!
If unsuitable or defective spare parts are installed in the machine, damage
to the machine or injuries to persons can occur.
Only use spare parts or accessories supplied or expressly approved
by TREIF!
Unauthorised conversions and modifications to the machine are not
authorised.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to defective safety switches!
People can be injured if the machine is operated with faulty safety equip-
ment.
The machine may not be operated in the case of defective safety de-
vices, defective covers or lids, defective switches or buttons.
Check the function of the safety switches after all cleaning, mainte-
nance or repair work.
Do not operate the machine if it does not switch off within the spec-
ified limits during a functional test ( “Functional test of the safety
switches” on page 41).
In this case, prevent the machine from being started up and imme-
diately arrange for repair.
Only allow TREIF Customer Service or a qualified electrician to re-
place faulty safety switches.
10.2 Personal protective equipment
Provide your personnel with the necessary personal protective equipment.
The protective equipment includes:
- cut-resistant gloves
- cut-resistant apron
- slip-resistant safety shoes
