ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Check the function of the safety switches ( “Functional test of the safety
switches” on page 41)daily before each initial operation.
Always check whether the machine is perfectly clean( “Cleaning” on
page 75).
7.2 Initialisation
When you insert the plug into the socket and switch on the main switch, the
machine must be initialised.
1. Open the infeed cover as far as it will go
2. Ensure that nothing is present in the cutting chute and the blade area.
3. Close the infeed cover.
4. Press one of the two START/STOP buttons.
- The blade performs a reference run. First counterclockwise and
then clockwise.
- The product feed holder moves back to the clamping position.
5. The machine is operational.
7.3 Product length
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If the product is longer than the insertion chamber, you should first halve
the product and slice the halves one after the other.

The machine starts the cutting process when one of the two START/STOP
buttons is pressed and stops automatically when the product feed holder
has reached its end position.
Note the following information for cutting any product that is longer than the
insertion chamber:
- The product cannot be cut completely in one process.
- The product must be positioned by moving the product feed holder to
divide it approximately in the middle before the halving.
- An uncut area remains at both ends of the product when slicing the
product.
