Fault Cause Remedy
Machine does not start once the
START/STOP button has been
pressed
Mains plug not plugged in Plug in mains plug
Main switch is switched off Switch on the master switch
Initialisation not performed Perform initialisation
The slice thickness is uneven The product is too soft or too fresh Let the product stand for a few
hours
Blade is blunt Replace the blade
The product is not held tight by the
product feed holder
Fasten the product feed holder to
the product
Irregular halving of the loaf Slice support not in the starting
position
Move the slice support to the start-
ing position, remove any product
residues if necessary
Slice support is bent Replace slice support if necessary
Sensor defective Contact TREIF Service
The product feed holder does not
advance
The feed motor is overheated Let the feed motor cool down
The cutting process starts before
the product has reached the cutting
level or the blade chamber
Slice holder not in the starting posi-
tion
Move the slice folder to the starting
position, remove any product resi-
dues if necessary
Sensor defective Contact TREIF Service
The slices are not clean Blade is blunt Replace the blade
The blade's silicone layer is dam-
aged
Replace the blade
The blade cutting edge is smeared Clean the blade
Slices are pulled into the slicing
chamber
Variable counter blade is smeared Clean the variable counter blade
with a moist cloth.
