9.2 Cleaning position for blade
The cleaning position must be assumed before the installed blade is
cleaned.
Clean the blade at least once daily.
CAUTION
Risk of injury on the upright knife!
The cut-off knife is very sharp. There is increased risk of injury in the case
of unsafe handling of the cut-off knife.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Only place dismantled blades in a safe place with the blade guard
fitted!
Never touch the blade’s cutting edge.
Make sure that no unauthorised persons have access to the knife.
Automatic movement of the blade to the cleaning position
1. Close the infeed cover.
- The blade moves to the cleaning position and stops in the cutting
chute.
- The locking of the feeding lid opens automatically.
2. Open the feeding lid.
Manual movement of the blade to the cleaning position
Alternatively, you can also move the blade manually to a suitable cleaning
position.
1. Adjust the position of the blade using the rotary pushbutton.
2. Press the rotary pushbutton twice in sequence.
- The locking of the feeding lid opens automatically.
3. Open the feeding lid.
