6.1 Safety instructions for start-up
WARNING
Risk of injury from unfastened components!
Incorrectly fastened components may loosen and, in the worst case, de-
tach during operation.
Before starting the machine, always check that all installed compo-
nents such as the blade and product feed holder are firmly fastened.
CAUTION
Risk of injury on the upright knife!
The cut-off knife is very sharp. There is increased risk of injury in the case
of unsafe handling of the cut-off knife.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Only place dismantled blades in a safe place with the blade guard
fitted!
Never touch the blade’s cutting edge.
Make sure that no unauthorised persons have access to the knife.
CAUTION
Risk of injury on the product holder!
There is the danger of puncturing or piercing hands and fingers when work-
ing on and handling the product holders!
Make sure when closing the product holder that there are no hands
and fingers in the hazard zone!
