Lowering removal chamber:
Proceed as follows to lower the removal chute for cleaning:
1. Open the front door of the machine ( “Opening the front door:” on
page 80).
2. First release one of the two locks (1) of the removal chute.
3. Secure the removal shaft in its current position from underneath using
one hand.
4. Release the second lock (1) and slowly lower the removal chute (2)
down towards the rear.
Attaching the blade guard
The blade guard must be attached before removing and inserting the
crumb tray.
1. Open the front door of the machine ( “Opening the front door:” on
page 80).
2. If necessary, lower the removal chamber ( “Lowering removal cham-
ber:” on page 81).
3. (Attach the blade guard 1) to the blade as shown in the illustration.
- Removal is performed in reverse order.
Removing crumb tray:
1. Open the front door of the machine ( “Opening the front door:” on
page 80).
2. Remove the crumb tray 1 forward out of the machine.
