11.6 REFILLING LP TANK
Simply open the baggage door, and ll the container
via the ll-in valve as indicated on the container.
Filling should always be done by a qualied service
attendant.
Shut o all pilot lights and the control valve on the LP
gas container when lling the container.
Always rell empty LP gas container as soon as pos-
sible.
Do not overll your LP gas container. Stop lling when
liquid appears at the overow valve, this indicates that
the tank is full which contacts the liquid level at 80%
of container capacity allowing 20% for expansion.
Check after each lling by opening the overow valve
and bleed gas in well-ventilated area until white liquid
stops. Overlling may cause damage to regulator and
cause malfunction of LP gas appliances.
IMPORTANT
The LP tank has an automatic 80% stop-ll
device to prevent over lling of the tank.
The tank is permanently mounted to the motorhome
frame. Therefore the vehicle must be taken to a fuel-
ling station to be lled. When liquid LP gas appears at
the overow valve, the tank is full.
LP gas stations are found in all parts of the country.
Check with the Yellow pages in your telephone book
if you have trouble nding a station. Look under “Gas-
Liqueed Petroleum-Bottled and Bulk” or ”Propane”.
1. Never overll the LP gas tank.
2. Make sure your vehicle is level when lling the tank.
3. Make sure all pilot lights are OFF before refuelling any of
the gas tanks on your motorhome.
4. Do not smoke or have any open ame in the area where
refuelling is taking place.
5. When testing for leaks in the LP system use a soap and
water solution. Never use an open ame to test for leaks.
6. Never ll the LP tank when either the engine or the gen-
erator is running.
7. Keep all protective covers and caps in place.

vaporization and expansion.
