8.7.2 Power Down
1. At the end of each shift, open the battery
back-up housing, move the battery
switch to the Off position. Close the
housing.
2. Remove mains power to the Sentro 8
and battery back-up in accordance with
local procedures.
Checkpoint
The Sentro 8 with a battery back-up must
be connected to a live mains power
supply in order for the Sentro 8 to power-
up. The Sentro 8 and battery back-up
are configured to operate in this way and
cannot be powered-up from the battery
back-up alone. The battery back-up will only
power the Sentro 8 in the event of mains
power supply failure.
