• If the truck is found to be in need of repair or in any way
unsafe, or contributes to an unsafe condition, or if during
operation the truck becomes unsafe in any way, the matter
shall be reported immediately to your designated authority,
and the truck shall not be operated until it has been restored
to safe operating condition.
• Do not make repairs or adjustments unless specically
authorized to do so.
• Do not use open ames when checking electrolyte level in
storage batteries.
• Be certain that your truck is the correct UL safety rating
type for the area in which you are working. The proper type
designation for the industrial truck is on the data plate. In
areas classied as hazardous, use only trucks approved
for use in those areas. All hazardous areas should have
classied markings. If you are unsure of the classication
of the area you wish to enter, ask your designated authority
before entering.
