3.8.8 Indicate Messages
The indication of old and new messages on the display can be configured. There are 4 cate-
gories of voicemail messages: new, new urgent, old, and old urgent. For each category, the ad-
ministrator can define whether the message count is shown or hidden, and set a header for the
category. If all four settings on the form are set to "Hide", the VoiceMail summary screen is not
shown to the user. Any other permutation of "Show/Hide" settings must result in a VoiceMail
summary.

• New items: Determines whether new items are indicated.
