What to do if my Uponor C-46 says 'Missing sensor'?
    • C
      Candice ShortAug 16, 2025
If your Uponor Temperature Controller displays a missing sensor error, it could be due to several reasons: * The sensor might not be defined in the controller. You can verify this in the quick menu or by rerunning the installation wizard. * For wired sensors, ensure the connection to the controller is secure. * If it's a radio thermostat, check the link using the View link function and add the link if it's missing. * If the radio thermostat is connected through a Controller C-56 Radio, verify the thermostat ID in the Zones menu, check the cable connection between the Climate Controller C-46 and Controller C-56 Radio, ensure the thermostat is linked in the Controller C-56 Radio, and confirm that the software version of Controller C-56 Radio is version 5.0.3 or later.

What to do if the mixer valve does not open in Uponor Temperature Controller?
    • T
      Timothy RodriguezAug 19, 2025
If your Uponor Temperature Controller's mixer valve isn't opening, there are a few potential causes: * The actuator might not be correctly connected to the controller. Check the actuator connection. * The actuator type might be incorrect. For thermal actuators, ensure it's a 24 V DC, NC type. * If it's a motorized actuator, check the external power and ensure the rotation setting is correct (clockwise or counterclockwise). * There might be another problem. Remove the actuator and manually open the valve to check if the mixing valve and source are working correctly. Also, check all pumps in the system.

Why is the control erratic on my Uponor Temperature Controller?
    • K
      Kenneth OconnorAug 22, 2025
If your Uponor Temperature Controller is behaving erratically and the actuator is working too often, the parameter settings may not be ideal. Try decreasing the Proportional coeff. parameter. If you're using a motorized actuator, increase the Dead zone parameter.

    tpotterAug 25, 2025
Why is the screen blank on my Uponor Temperature Controller?
    • M
      mwhiteAug 25, 2025
If your Uponor Temperature Controller screen is blank, it likely indicates a power issue. First, check the fuse. If the fuse is intact, verify the power connection to ensure it's properly connected.

Why does room temperature adjust slowly with weather changes on my Uponor C-46?
    • C
      Charlene JohnsonAug 27, 2025
If the room temperature adjusts too slowly when weather conditions change using your Uponor Temperature Controller, the control system might be running slowly. To address this, increase the Proportional coeff. parameter.

Why does the last couple of degrees take a long time to adjust on Uponor C-46?
    • R
      Rick HughesAug 30, 2025
If the last few degrees take a long time to adjust in the room with your Uponor Temperature Controller, the parameter settings may not be ideal. Decrease the Integration time parameter. If a motorized actuator is used, decrease the Dead zone parameter.
  • P
    Patricia HernandezSep 2, 2025
Why does the control oscillate on my Uponor Temperature Controller?
    • L
      Laurie GarciaSep 2, 2025
If the control oscillates with your Uponor Temperature Controller, the parameter settings may not be ideal. Decrease both the Proportional coeff. and Integration time parameters. Also, check the pump, the mixer valve, and the supply temperature.

What causes unreasonable readings from wired sensor on Uponor Temperature Controller?
    • W
      watsonrachelSep 4, 2025
If you are getting unreasonable readings from the wired sensor connected to your Uponor Temperature Controller, it might be due to a wrong sensor type being connected. To resolve this, ensure that only Uponor sensors are used with the controller.
  • B
    brownandrewSep 7, 2025
Why is the room temperature too low with my Uponor C-46 Temperature Controller?
    • A
      Alexis JohnstonSep 7, 2025
If the room temperature is too low when using your Uponor Temperature Controller, the heat curve might not be correct. Check the parameters T-slope and T-adjustment.
  • L
    Leslie HudsonSep 10, 2025
Why doesn't my Uponor C-46 Temperature Controller switch between comfort and economy modes?
    • R
      Rebecca GutierrezSep 10, 2025
If your Uponor Temperature Controller system isn't switching between comfort and economy modes as expected, it might be due to an incorrect clock setting after a power failure. Correct the clock settings to resolve this issue.
